Plan for Preliminary Task: Research

13^th-16^th September

                                    I will conduct research into existing media, analysing the front cover 3 school/college magazines. I will make notes on use of colour/connotations, fonts, layout, content, images, mode of address and conventions.

                                    I will also look at the use of the principle of thirds and the route of the eye.

                                   

17^th-20^th September  

                                    I will analyse three contents pages of school/college magazines in the same way, looking at the same aspects that they have.

                                    I will also write a list of conventions that school/college magazines have.

• Content- types of stories, features and connotations from them
• Mode of address- how the language used appeals/speaks to the target audience
